This website is for my fifth grade students and parents for the 2016/2017 school year. The purpose of my site is to help with communication among students, parents/guardians, and  myself with classroom expectations and general class information.

On this website, I have included several pages to help you stay informed about our day-to-day activities and learning. This will be especially helpful if your child forgets something or is absent for any reason. I will update the website weekly, so please check often. 

When you are looking at the web page, notice that there is a reminder sidebar to the right of the screen. This will be on each page, so you will always know what is taking place in class, when assignments are due, upcoming events, and when tests will be.

Please take some time and explore the website. After all, it was created as a resource for you and your child.

My students had a great time creating their own avatar. They went on a polygon web-quest to find information about the properties of triangles. I assigned them four questions about triangles. They had to make their avatar talk about their findings using complete sentences.
